Our clinic is now open to see patients on a limited basis as we evaluate and learn how to thoughtfully and safely treat people at this time. Our scheduling and safety protocols will be changing and developing with time.
Appointments are currently much more staggered than before so as to allow for ample time to clean and sanitize the office throughout the day. Seniors and high-risk patients are invited to contact us a week in advance or more if they would like to book the first appointments of the day.
Anyone who has had a known exposure to the novel coronavirus, or has any new symptoms of potential COVID-19 infection, may not enter the office. These symptoms include cough, shortness of breath, fever and/or chills, fatigue, sore throat, loss of taste or smell, nasal congestion, muscle aches not caused by specific activity, and diarrhea. These patients are highly encouraged to schedule a virtual consultation via telehealth or phone for herbal prescription as soon as symptoms arise, as are patients who prefer remote health care. For now, please email firstname.lastname@example.org to schedule remote appointments, thank you. Late cancellation fees will be waived for illness reasons.
We ask that everyone who enters the clinic remains masked at all times. Masks should not have valves, or should have valves that are clearly closed or sealed.
Patients are asked to take their temperature before their appointment, and no-touch forehead thermometers are available at the clinic.
Patients will be admitted to the clinic at the time of their appointment, and will proceed directly to their treatment room instead of utilizing the waiting area. We ask that patients arrive unaccompanied to the clinic, with the exception of minors and patients who require assistance.
There will be a freshly sanitized plastic bin in each treatment room for patients’ belongings. Coat hooks are unavailable for use at this time. Treatment tables, stools, and high touch surfaces throughout the clinic will be cleaned between every patient with disinfectant containing EPA-approved agents for use against SARS-CoV-2. Floors will be cleaned frequently throughout the week, and each treatment room is equipped with HEPA filters with UVC light. Air circulation will be maximized with open treatment doors when empty and fans throughout the office.
Payment will be processed via remote credit card processing, and of course, insurance billing continues as usual.
Our schedule will likely change several times as we learn and become accustomed to new protocols. Thank you for your understanding and patience. Please reach out if you have any questions or concerns. We look forward to connecting with you soon!
